SEAG-N founding members held their 2nd meeting last June 12-14, 2014 at Sokhalay Hotel, Siem Reap, Cambodia with the following objectives: 1.) To serve as a venue for sharing for learning, experiences, and best practices of SEA alumni in the green sector; 2.) To update the alumni on the latest developments and thrusts of GIZ’s Global Partners of Germany Work; 3.) To further enhance relationships between the alumni networks/associations, GIZ, and other strategic partners; and 4.) To come up with an acceptable working framework/concept this will lead to the establishment of a network for alumni involved in the green network.

The founding members of the Southeast Asia Green Network (SEAG-N) met for the 3rd time in Mactan Island, Cebu, Philippines last November 13-14, 2014 for operationalizing the SEAG-N. During the meeting, the different German Alumni associations drafted their yearly goals to address the following themes: 2015 (Eco-Tourism for Sustainable Development), 2016 (Green Education for All) and 2017 (Alternative Energy for Green Economy).
The founding members of the Southeast Asia Green Network (SEAG-N) met in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam last November 13-14, 2015 to revisit the SEAG-N Roadmap and discussed the 1st SEAG-N Project proposal which is the Joint Development of the Learning Resource Material on Climate Change. This project proposal is a joint venture of AUFTRAG-Philippines and CLeAN-Indonesia.
The members of the newly formed Southeast Asia Green Network (SEAG-N) elected their 1st set of officers during the SEAG-N Alumni Network Meeting held on November 13-14, 2015 at Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. SEAG-N is composed of local networks of alumni trained and/or educated in Germany that are based in the Cambodia, Indonesia, the Philippines and Vietnam who are involved in the Green Sector. 2015 was considered as the most productive year for AUFTRAG. Two German firms in Northern Mindanao were cited by the Association for their significant contributions through their various Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts. These are the STEAG State Power, Inc. and Newtech Pulp, Inc. Last November 30, 2015, AUFTRAG held its 2015 Year-End Fellowship at Newtech Pulp, Inc. located in Balo-i, Lanao del Norte. The group was warmly welcomed by Mr. Robert Somers, Newtech Pulp's Managing Director.
